TIMMES’ Optimized Data Environment for Network Centric Operations (ODEN) technology for teleradiology accelerates data transmission rates of medical imagery (MRI, X-ray, ital.) achieving lossless, 200% to 2000% throughput increases over benchmark metrics. The efficiency of ODEN improves dramatically over time with increases of 20:1 to 200:1 for highly compressible data. ODEN has been demonstrated in multiple Defense Systems Information Agency events of global proportion in 2007 and 2008. In essence, MRI/X-ray imagery was transmitted from Afghanistan to Bethesda Maryland in minutes, with no loss of imagery data, for review by a medical specialist team to review and advice.
